“Satan said unto the woman, did God say, ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? Did he also say that your eyes shall be opened?”
Now when the devil said to the woman that her eyes would be open, it was true. But what he didn’t say was that Man’s eyes would be opened into another realm which is lower and inferior.
For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. Gen 3:5
Life in God’s mind is “fullness of life”, that is how he knows it. When you are worshiping God and you touch a little bit of him, you experience his life; for in his presence there is fullness of joy and at his right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
Satan has sold us a lie that has perpetuated, just as he sold a lie to Adam and Eve. Jesus came that we might have life, he came to give us the fullness of life both in quality and in quantity. It is a life that does not know death or pain, not even sorrow. He has come to give us the life of the age to come.
If you see yourself wallowing in the dark places of the earth, then you should know it is the work of the devil. We wander round the earth looking for what to do and what to eat. God always takes us through the wilderness experience so that He can remove the wilderness from us so that by the time we emerge, we are ready to enter into the promise land.
In the beginning, man was placed in the garden that was self-sufficient in itself. When God asked man to tend it, it was an instruction for man to know his environment and to become familiar with it. The water generated from the earth was what watered the garden.
God’s intention for man was that man should rest and enjoy his creation, and not for man to be wandering about the earth. He created man and made him in his image and likeness, that is, to have the capacity like him. That is still God’s intention.
We think the way we think right now because of the weakness of our mind.
Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. Heb 1:4
When we say “we are higher than the angels”, that is the true potential nature of man.
We are going back to that nature in God. That is our journey. We would overcome in this realm. Transformation is taking place in us and soon, we would see how far we have gone in God. The spirit that died because of the fall would come to us fully again and we would see ourselves becoming “half spirit” and “half human”.
